Our range of shorter training workshops, supported by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
This is a full day session will enable you to understand how to gather evidence from young people and how to tell the story of their experience and journey equitably and ethically.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Understand how and when to involve young people’s feedback into your evaluations
- Discuss the benefits of involving young people in building an evidence base for your theory of change
- Understand the benefits of adult led, co-design and youth led service and evaluation design
- Use Equitable Storytelling
- Understand the characteristics of youth participatory research
- Understand the limitations and challenges of YPR and gaining an overview of how to conduct YPR.

Our accredited courses, providing a longer-term learning environment to support learners to take skills from classroom to setting.
Our Youth Voice and Participation course is designed for practitioners who want to embed youth voice, participation, and co-design into their programmes and services. This course provides an overview of the terrain of youth voice and a range of practical modules to enable you to embed it successfully in your work.
Outcomes
This accredited learning course covers the following learning outcomes:
- Understand the rationale for and benefits of youth voice and the current UK context for youth voice and participation;
- Understand the range of youth voice and participation in the UK;
- Understand how to deal with common issues that arise in youth voice activities; and
- Understand how to plan, deliver and evaluate a youth voice or participation project.
Qualification and Credit Framework Level
This course is at QCF Level 3.

There are 12 hours of learning across six modules.
Cost
The course costs £370 per learner for a group of between 10 and 16 learners.
