#iwill Evidence and Insights Collective
The Evidence and Insights Collective (EIC) is funded by UK Youth and Volunteering Matters as part of the #iwill movement. It brings together young people and organisations that represent the variety of youth social action as part of #iwill.
About the Collective
The EIC will input on developing a shared research agenda for youth social action (YSA), with the active engagement and participation of young people. The YSA research priority agenda-setting process will offer a clear and positive invitation for engagement, working towards a tangible output via collective conversation.
EIC historical context:
The EIC is funded by UK Youth and Volunteering Matters as part of the #iwill movement. It brings together young people and organisations that represent the variety of youth social action as part of #iwill.
The EIC has met several times in the past to share good practice and provide recommendations and advice to support young people to engage in youth social action and feel empowered to make change, and to draw together learning around youth social action practice from within and across the #iwill movement.
Renewing the EIC
YMCA George Williams College and UK Youth are now re-establishing the EIC to build on its previous achievements. This will involve working with young people and organisations to create a refreshed research agenda for youth social action.
